La Sagrada Familia
Familia Santua

The action takes place at Easter in the beach house belonging to a family of architects. Marco is a 21 year-old student of architecture and son of a renowned, self-centred architect. Both have a competitive relationship which Soledad, Marco’s mother, constantly tries to keep under control. The family is nervously waiting for the arrival of Sofía, Marco’s first official girlfriend, about whom they know very little. The neighbouring houses have also received visits from a number of Marco’s friends: Aldo, a wealthy legal student who has convinced his classmate Pedro to join him at the beach, and the beautiful, insolent and reserved Rita who has decided to spend these days alone. Events oblige Marco’s mother to return to Santiago. Sofía’s arrival upsets the balance: she turns up with a load of drugs and a disturbing erotic intensity which, by Marco’s mother’s return on Easter Sunday, will have caused irreversible changes in the family and rest of the characters.
