Just a couple of days before the much-awaited performance, Sonny, a young guitar-player, arrives in town looking for work. He asks Tyrone for help, only to be arrested by the local sheriff and sent to pick cotton. On the day of the show, the train arrives and Guitar Sam is nowhere to be found. Tyrone has to take drastic action not to lose this big make-or-break opportunity, save the club and help launch a new musical era.
