The Beatles are caught up in an intrigue around the ring Ringo can’t get off of his finger. He and the others completing the Fab Four, John, Paul and George, are hounded by the members of a religious sect, a mad scientist and Scotland Yard as they hot-foot it from London to the Bahamas, making their way over the Austrian Alps on the way.

Richard Lester Born in Philadelphia in 1932, in 1953 he moved to London. In 1964, he directed A Hard Day’s Night, the Beatles’ first movie, followed by Help! (1965). Other films by him are: The Knack... and How to Get It (1965), Golden Palm at Cannes, Petulia (1968), The Three Musketeers (1973), Robin and Marian (1976), Cuba (1979), Superman II (1980), Superman III (1983) and The Return of the Musketeers (1989).
