Darling is a dark comedy about young obnoxious upper class, ordinary folks and the condition of life in the Stockholm of the 2000s. Beautiful and self-absorbed Eva engages in a banal affair that becomes the starting point of a slow but relentless descent down to the life of ordinary people and a surprising, but doomed friendship with an unemployed, 61-year-old engineer.

Johan Kling Stockholm, 1962. He produced, wrote and directed several series for Swedish television which have had a remarkable impact in that country, such as Stockholmers (2001), considered as a precedent for the British The Office and Spacer (2002). In 2003, he wrote and directed the short Jag, making his feature debut with Darling, winner of the Nordic Film Award at Göteborg Festival.
