Closing film
Match Point tells the dramatic tale of a young tennis coach called Chris, his climb up the social ladder, and the terrible consequences of his ambition. Undecided between two women, and finding no answer to his problem, he opts for a desperate solution. The action takes place among high-class British society, when Nola, a beautiful young American trying to find an opening in the London theatre world, comes between Chris and his wife Chloe. In the end it?s Chloe?s rich brother who sparks off the tragic chain of events.

Woody Allen
New York, 1935. After a successful stretch in television and theatre, he acted for the first time in cinema with What?s New, Pussycat? (1965), moving to directing four years later with Take the Money and Run. He has two Academy Awards for best screenplay for Annie Hall (1977) and Hannah and Her Sisters (1986) and has been nominated on another eleven occasions. He obtained the same award as best director for Annie Hall. In 2002, he received the Príncipe de Asturias de las Artes Award and in 2004 San Sebastian Festival granted him its Donostia Award.
